Dr Robert Philipp brings management experience from industry, consulting, technology, professional services and mid-sized companies. As Head of Business Development at Kieback&Peter, he was responsible for bringing scalable models to market in digital building technology and ESG. As Chief Digital Officer at Grant Thornton, he built a digital advisory unit. At Johnson Controls, he led strategy programmes, post-merger integrations and innovation initiatives across Europe.

Further roles took him into managing director responsibility at a data centre operator and fibre-optic telecommunications company, and at a software systems integrator. This experience is complemented by turnaround management in mid-sized companies. His career began in strategy consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton, today Strategy&.

Academically, he combines a bilingual business administration degree from the University of Fribourg, a doctorate at the Institute for Automation and Operations Research, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. His long-standing role as deputy supervisory board member of a BaFin-regulated company adds a perspective on governance, oversight and entrepreneurial long-term thinking.
