As Head of Sales Asia, he was responsible for sales of large turbochargers and exhaust systems for marine and stationary applications. He subsequently served as Managing Director of the Chinese subsidiary of a German mid-sized company in thermal management for commercial vehicles.

Working with global OEMs, he gained first-hand experience of international market requirements, technical applications and local leadership norms. He understands how European engineering and quality standards interact with local market requirements, Asian speed of execution and cross-cultural leadership in practice.
