Founded on leadership experience of our own
Norbert Meyer-Oltmanns founds a specialist recruitment consultancy for the building materials industry. The basis is his decades of managing director and P&L responsibility in internationally active companies in the sector.
2016
Expansion into construction and building services
The strong sector focus on building materials develops into a broader field of mandates across construction: project development, structural and civil engineering, specialist construction, MEP, building services and key positions in the construction industry.
2018
A bridge of expertise into chemicals and industrial process markets
Out of the building materials industry, the focus develops into adjacent chemical and basic materials markets. Many building materials are produced in raw-material-, energy- and process-intensive industries – with high demands on process engineering, quality, regulation and plant operation. This proximity forms the basis for the first mandates in the chemical industry and related process markets.
2020
Establishing a presence in process and basic materials industries
On this basis the focus grows further into petrochemical, agrochemical and basic materials industries. Operational excellence, plant availability, HSE, continuous improvement, energy efficiency and transformation in capital-intensive environments become central themes in search and appointment work.

Expansion through a partner structure and new fields of expertise
With the development into Meyer-Oltmanns & Cie. GmbH, the company takes a broader position. Engineering & mechanical engineering, technology, professional services, transformation and international appointments are added as further fields of expertise.
This expansion is built on clear professional competences: international industrial and leadership experience, technical market understanding, expertise in Asia, transformation experience, and practice in growth and consulting.
